News: 8 September 2021

Nasma Central has now welcomed 200,000 visitors, as local interest in the vibrant community centre and park at the Nasma Residences project in Sharjah’s Al Suyoh district gathers pace.

Opened to the public in May this year, Nasma Central’s mix of retail assets, cafes, sporting facilities and lush green landscape has proved a hit with local residents.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Chief Executive Officer of Arada, said: “We are delighted with the strong reception that Nasma Central has received in its first four months of operation from residents and visitors from nearby neighbourhoods. As we approach October and the beginning of the winter season, we will be bringing in an exciting calendar of activities that will ensure footfall to this exciting destination continues to grow.”

Spanning 55,000 square feet, Nasma Central contains a Spinneys supermarket; a Starbucks drive-thru coffee shop; a Wellfit gym complete with outdoor swimming pool; Origins Koffee Lab and Kitchen; sweets shop Melty; men’s salon Doc Barnet and a Health First pharmacy.

Future outlets opening at Nasma Central include a Bath & Body Works outlet, a British Orchard Nursery, a Tecno Clean cleaning service, a Capri Pizza restaurant, a Mirrors Beauty Lounge ladies’ salon and a Vanilla Rose Café.

Residents and visitors to the community can also enjoy Nasma Central Park, which is located adjacent to Nasma Central, and contains a variety of sporting facilities, a running track and a family barbecue area.

The focal point of Nasma Central Park is a stunning manmade hilltop location and memorial pavilion dedicated to the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the former Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The hilltop summit gives visitors impressive views of the surrounding neighbourhoods as well as the nearly Sharjah Mosque.
