Masaar named Sharjah’s top off-plan project for the first half of 2021

News: 4 August 2021

Arada’s latest megaproject, the forested villa community Masaar, has been named Sharjah’s top off-plan project for the first six months of 2021, according to research from Bayut/Dubizzle.

Launched in January this year, Masaar recorded over half a billion dirhams in sales in the first half of 2021, thanks to strong investor interest in the 450 villas and townhouses on offer in the community’s first phase, Sendian.

Prices in Masaar, which is located in the Suyoh district of Sharjah, start at AED1.197 million.

The second best-performing offplan project during the period is also being developed by Arada Launched in December last year, Naseej District at Aljada is a new creative neighbourhood for Sharjah, based in the Emirate’s largest mixed-use community.

Bayut/Dubizzle’s research also showed that the Muwaileh district of Sharjah – where Aljada is based – showed the highest increase in sales price per square foot during the first six months of 2021, up by 8% to AED909.

Furthermore, the Al Tay suburb – where Arada’s first project, Nasma Residences, is based – was named as the most popular area for buying and renting villas in Sharjah. The research showed that Nasma Residences was Sharjah’s most popular villa community during this period, based on interest from tenants and buyers.

The Bayut/Dubizzle research follows data released by Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, which shows that the value of property sold in the Emirate in the first six months of the year rose by 41% compared to the same period last year.

Arada’s own sales rose by 85% to AED1.15 billion during the first half of 2021.
