HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice Chairman of Arada, meets HE Dr Rashid Alleem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority

HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice Chairman of Arada, recently visited HE Dr Rashid Alleem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), at the Sharjah’s utility’s head office in Al Khan.
Prince Khaled and Dr Alleem discussed the strong partnership between Arada and SEWA, with both entities working together on two projects, Nasma Residences and Aljada. Dr Alleem also briefed Prince Khaled on SEWA’s programmes, initiatives, projects and overall vision, and presented him with a copy of his most recent book.
In October 2017, Arada announced a partnership with SEWA at Aljada, Sharjah’s largest mixed-use megaproject. The partnership will result in the construction of one 132 kilovolt (Kv) substation at the north-eastern corner of the Aljada site. A further fifteen 33/11 Kv substations will also be built, guaranteeing power to every section of the community.
