Arada accelerates progress at Sharjah destination Aljada with raft of new launches at Cityscape Global

As part of its participation at this year’s Cityscape Global exhibition in Dubai, Arada is launching sales for five new upscale buildings at Aljada, the transformational destination spreading over 24 million square feet in New Sharjah. During the event, which is taking place at Expo 2020 Dubai between 9-11 November, Arada is also showcasing its forested Masaar community, which contains eight gated districts all linked by a ‘green spine’ containing 50,000 trees.

The series of launches are further evidence of progress at Aljada, where 5,000 units are currently under construction, and where more than 1,200 homes have already been completed so far this year.

Sharjah’s real estate market has witnessed a consistent increase in demand year on year and has also successfully weathered the pandemic with impactful government measures and effective infrastructure spending. This has in turn led to improved investor confidence, to the benefit of developers such as Arada.”

The Gate

The key highlight of the launches is The Gate community, a two-building complex that is situated at the main entrance of Aljada, with easy access to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Off-plan sales for 120 apartments within The Gate buildings has started, with a variety of premium one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments on offer.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, CEO of Arada, said: “We are particularly excited about launching The Gate, which will provide an impressive entry point into Aljada. The Boulevard 3

Arada is also launching the third and final building in The Boulevard, a new downtown living experience centrally located within the Aljada master plan. The nine-storey block containing 171 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments is based on Aljada’s main avenue, an elegant tree-lined street complete with shops, restaurants and cafes. Construction on The Boulevard 3 has already begun and all units are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022.

Sokoon 4

Also going on sale this week is the fourth Sokoon building, which is located in Aljada’s new creative neighbourhood, Naseej District. The premium apartment block contains 118 smart homes, all of which have easy access to lush green parks and the world-class Naseej District Museum.

Construction on Sokoon 4 will begin in the first quarter of 2022, with scheduled completion by the end of 2023.

Vida Residences 3 Aljada

Launched yesterday in a joint announcement with Emaar Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Emaar Properties, Vida Residences 3 Aljada is Sharjah’s first branded serviced apartments building and a significant new offering at one of the UAE’s fastest-growing communities.

Owned and developed by Arada, and operated by Vida Hotels and Resorts, Vida Residences 3 Aljada consists of 149 smart high-end homes, all of which are fully furnished and decorated by Vida, a brand renowned for its sleek, contemporary aesthetics, minimalist luxury, and immaculate finishes.

These releases mark the latest in a series of successful off-plan launches at Aljada’s mega mixed-use development. So far in 2021, Arada has sold nearly 1,600 units at Aljada, with a total value of almost AED900 million, gained by continued traction in Sharjah’s real estate market.

Spread over a 24 million square foot area, Aljada is Sharjah’s largest ever project and a transformational destination for the Emirate. Aljada contains numerous residential districts, as well as extensive retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, healthcare components, and a business park, all set within a green urban master plan. On completion, Aljada will contain 20,000 units and will be home to a population of 70,000 people.
