Arada executive discusses the power of brand at landmark Sharjah event

A senior member of Arada’s management team was invited to speak in front of a full house at one of Sharjah’s most significant events last week.

Melissa Bayik, Arada’s Head of Brand, gave a presentation entitled ‘How Brand Power Can Help Build the Perfect Community’ at the 11th Annual Marketing & Branding Congress Week.

Held on 8 October at the Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah, the event welcomed hundreds of attendees who were greeted to a packed schedule with a number of high-profile speakers.

During her presentation, Melissa gave an account of the development of the Arada brand, and the role it has played in the development of the company’s two Sharjah-based communities, Aljada and Nasma Residences.

The event’s keynote speech was given by HE Dr Rashid Alleem, Founder and Executive Chairman of Alleem Knowledge Center in Sharjah.

Other speakers at the event included Ravi Anand, Growth Leader, GE Power Middle East; Professor Christopher Abraham, CEO and Head – Dubai Campus, SP Jain School of Global Management; Syeda Kanizul Fatma, Chief Knowledge Officer, SEWA; and Dr Abed Baidas, Group Chairman and CEO, Identity Branding Forum.

Dr Rashid, who is also chairman of the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), presented speakers at the event with a number of gifts, including books.
