Arada welcomes Zaha Hadid Architects team to Aljada to interact with local design community

Arada has welcomed an extended team from one of the world’s top architecture firms, Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA), to its Sharjah megaproject Aljada for several days of talks and presentations.
The sessions have given members of the UAE’s design, engineering and architecture community an opportunity to hear from the ZHA team’s architects and thought leaders.
The talks took place between Wednesday 9 November and Thursday 10 November, with the ZHA team giving a private presentation to key members of the local design community on Friday 11 November.
It’s also the first time that the team have had the opportunity to view the Aljada Discovery Center, a beautifully designed elliptical building that forms part of the the first completed section of the Madar at Aljada family entertainment complex, which was designed by ZHA.
Opened in 2020 by HH The Ruler of Sharjah, Madar at Aljada has already welcomed more than three million visitors.
