Arada has been awarded the Excellence in Social Responsibility Award by HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, at the 22nd Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, in recognition of its impactful community initiatives and commitment to sustainable development.
The ceremony, held on 19 June 2025 at the Sharjah Education Academy, also honoured HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Humanitarian Envoy of The Big Heart Foundation and Chairman of Arada, in the Veteran Personalities category for his exceptional contributions to humanitarian and volunteer work.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said: “We are honoured to receive this recognition at this prestigious awards ceremony. Social responsibility has always been a core part of Arada’s values, and this award reflects the dedication of our team and our partners in building stronger, more resilient communities. We remain committed to creating long-term impact through thoughtful, sustainable initiatives that serve both our society and our environment.”
The award highlights Arada’s strategic efforts through the Arada Foundation, including its flagship Home for a Home campaign, and its leadership in emergency response during the Sharjah floods of April 2024. In that initiative, Arada provided shelter, food and essential supplies to thousands of affected residents, coordinating over 25,000 volunteer hours and delivering support valued at more than AED6.5 million.
