Arada named Sustainable Developer of the Year at the Bayut Awards 2023

Dubai: Arada was recently honoured for its significant efforts towards sustainability at one of the UAE real estate industry’s biggest awards nights.
The master developer took home the coveted Sustainable Developer of the Year title at the Bayut Awards 2023, which were held recently at the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai.
The award was in recognition of Arada’s efforts in a number of environmentally friendly fields, including exceptional natural resource management, with over 50,000 of its own trees in the Masaar mega-development alone. At the Aljada megaproject, the vast on-site Shajar nursery and environmental education centre cultivates over 50 native and adaptable species.
Arada is also deeply involved with state-of-the-art innovative water treatment and entered an R&D joint venture with international leaders in the field Biopolus and Metito along with the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).
The developer’s Aljada mega-community is being developed as a smart city with electric vehicle lanes, smart homes, smart waste management and solar power, with its inhouse Yalla brand of e-bikes and e-scooters for an eco-friendly way to commute within.
Lastly, Arada’s partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Manbat, supports Emirati farmers and helps towards the country’s long-term food security goals.
The Bayut Awards 2023 marked excellence for industry trailblazers, honouring the ‘real heroes of real estate.’ Organisations, agents, and agencies who consistently delivered high-quality services were acknowledged as industry frontrunners for the UAE’s phenomenal growth in the property sector, along with utilizing the Bayut platform’s tools, products and technologies.
