HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Arada, has attended the official opening of Vida Aljada, a new five-star lifestyle hotel in the heart of Aljada, marking a major addition to Sharjah’s hospitality sector and the latest milestone in the development of the Emirate’s largest lifestyle destination.
Owned and developed by Arada and operated by Emaar Hospitality Group under its Vida Hotels & Resorts brand, the 175-room property is the first Emaar Hospitality Group hotel to open at Aljada and the first Vida hotel in Sharjah.
Located in Aljada’s Naseej District, Vida Aljada is within easy reach of Sharjah’s leading cultural, educational and commercial districts, just three minutes from University City and Sharjah Airport Free Zone and 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport and Sharjah Corniche.
The Vida Aljada hotel’s range of rooms include 129 king, 32 twin, three accessible rooms, 10 suites and a 305-square-metre Penthouse Suite – the largest in the Northern Emirates that includes its own private pool, full butler service and private lift, with a rack rate of AED10,000 a night. The development also includes a serviced apartments building and two branded residences buildings, with 579 keys added to the Sharjah hospitality market across all four buildings.
Vida Aljada’s dining and social offering spans four distinct concepts designed to serve hotel guests, residents and visitors alike. Origins is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant and main breakfast venue, with 122 seats across a generous indoor and outdoor setting. True Slice is a specialty pizzeria focused on freshly prepared pizza and relaxed social dining across 58 seats. Stage 2, the hotel’s lobby café and social space, offers 60 seats split between indoor and outdoor areas and is open to guests, residents and the wider community, making it a natural gathering point at the heart of the property. A fourth concept, Flo, completes the food and beverage offer.
Other amenities within the hotel include spa treatment rooms, a 24/7 fitness centre, adult and children’s swimming pools, an outdoor terrace and the Qix Club Play Area for children. Meeting rooms, breakout spaces and a multifunction venue also cater to corporate gatherings and events.
Spread over a 24 million square foot area, Aljada is Sharjah’s largest mixed-use project and a transformational destination for the Emirate. Aljada contains numerous residential districts incorporating 25,000 homes, as well as extensive retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, healthcare components and a business park, all set within a green urban master plan.
Over 9,000 homes have already been completed at Aljada – which currently has a population of more than 20,000 – alongside two international schools, two hotels and significant entertainment, retail and dining offerings.
